Caravan to Class has launched a new Female Adult Literacy Program aimed at mothers so that they too can feel the joy and hope of literacy. This program is a support program to not only help teach literacy to mothers, but also to create generational change in families—particularly with the girls—with respect to the prioritization of education. Specifically, the Female Adult Literacy program will instruct 20-25 mothers in the village of Tourari in their local languages Tamachek and Soghay.
