Celebrating Our New Bourse Jackie Scholarship Recipient Cohorts

Caravan to Class is proud to announce the selection of our newest Bourse Jackie Scholarship recipients—an inspiring group of exceptional young women whose determination, talent, and vision embody the transformative power of education. This year marks the 7th cohort of the Bourse Jackie University Scholarship in Timbuktu, Mali, and the 3rd cohort of the Bourse Jackie English-Language Scholarship across Francophone West Africa.

In Timbuktu, five outstanding young women have been awarded full university scholarships, opening pathways to careers in medicine, journalism, law, and community leadership. For these scholars, the Bourse Jackie Scholarship represents more than financial support—it is a promise of possibility and a commitment to uplift others. As one recipient shared,

“This scholarship offered me an opportunity that was very uncertain before, to continue my studies and build a better future.”

We also celebrate seven remarkable young women from eight Francophone West African countries selected for intensive English-language study in Ghana. Through this program, scholars gain critical language skills that connect local ambition with global opportunity. United by resilience and purpose, they remind us that education is a gateway to independence, excellence, and lasting impact.

Together, these new cohorts reflect Caravan to Class’s enduring commitment to educational equity and to cultivating the next generation of women leaders—across borders, backgrounds, and bright futures ahead.
