Congratulations, Fatouma!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate this remarkable achievement by Fatouma Touré, from Timbuktu, Mali, and a member of the very first cohort of Bourse Jackie scholarship recipients in 2018.

After receiving a two-year scholarship to study at the Villars Palace Academy near Lausanne, Switzerland, Fatouma has successfully completed her studies with outstanding results. She not only graduated with honors but was also named Valedictorian of her entire class!

Fatouma’s journey is a powerful example of what Caravan to Class hopes to achieve: supporting talented young women in pursuing their dreams, becoming leaders, and giving back to their communities.

As she begins this exciting new chapter, Fatouma will return to Mali to serve as the Program Director for Caravan to Class programs in French-speaking West Africa.

Congratulations, Fatouma! We are incredibly proud of you and look forward to seeing the amazing impact you will continue to make on the world.

We thank our partner/donor Villars Palace and the Le Solstice foundation for believing in the women from Caravan to Class’ network.
