Helping Caravan to Class

Image of a Tedeini village child's open notebook from school as the result of Caravan to Class new school construction Thank you for taking the time to learn about Caravan to Class and the work we do to provide education to far away villages in Africa. We are an all-volunteer organization that relies upon our donors and supporters. We feel the more we can spread the information about villages of real people—like Tedeini—with simple but deserving needs such as education, the closer we get to tackling some of the world’s great injustices. Illiteracy is certainly one injustice that should not be that difficult to make progress on.

Support Us By Helping To Spread the Word

Caravan to Class is grateful to our donors for making an investment in literacy. As much as we need resources to further our work, it is equally important to mobilize our supporters against the injustice of illiteracy. You can help spread the word by inviting a friend to visit the Caravan to Class website to learn of our mission and work. Find out more about literacy issues in our Recommended Links page.

Volunteering With Caravan to Class

Caravan to Class will operate, as much as possible, as an all-volunteer organization in order to focus our resources on spreading literacy in villages across Africa. We will regularly have the need for interested volunteers to get involved in our cause and will post that information here. Please find the posting below for specific help we are looking for at this time.

VOLUNTEER OPORTUNITY – Caravan to Class is currently looking for an intern to devote 5-10 hours per week to help with outreach and administration. If you are passionate about Mali, Africa and Education, please consider volunteering with Caravan to Class. You will be rewarded with a lot of satisfaction for helping take our young organization to the next level, in addition to helping spread literacy to a large number of deserving children in the villages where we operate.
